Housing Configurator

A parametric residential model wired to Australian planning and NCC compliance. Adjust footprint, site, orientation and internal layout, and watch site plan, dashboards, drawings and documentation regenerate together, the same pipeline we build for volume and modular builders.

What this demonstrates

Residential design automation with live NCC compliance. One parametric model driving 3D, drawings, schedules and compliance together, the residential pipeline we deploy for builders and consultants.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How these demos relate to the systems we build for clients.

Is this how GIRIH X actually models homes for builders?

The parametric logic here mirrors production work: one model drives the 3D visual, the quantity schedule and the drawings simultaneously. Change the footprint or roof and all three regenerate. Production models are built in Revit with structural, MEP and joinery detail on the same parametric spine.

Are the quantities and cost band real?

The quantities are measured live from the same geometry you see on screen: cladding areas are net of openings, roof areas account for pitch, and window schedules count real placed units. The cost band applies indicative Australian volume-builder rates and is for demonstration only.

Can the drawings be used for approvals?

The plan and elevations in this demo are simplified, but they are generated from the model rather than drawn, which is the point: in production the same parametric source produces documentation-grade drawings, so design changes never require redrawing.

How does this scale to a full home range?

A builder's range becomes a family of parametric types: facade, roof form, storeys and footprint vary per lot while quantities and documentation stay automatic. We deliver this as end-to-end BIM for volume and modular builders, from the model through to automated documentation.

Want this for your products?

Everything in the Playground is built with the same stack we deploy for clients: configurators driven by real product masters, planners connected to BIM data, and AR experiences served straight from the product catalogue.
